Delivering High Quality Stainless Steel and Alloy Piping Products — Pipes, Tubes, Fittings, Flanges and more for Global Industries.
sales@savoypipinginc.com
Savoy Piping Inc. supplies ISO 3183 welded pipe — SAW (LSAW/DSAW/HSAW), HFW and COW line pipe for large-diameter oil and gas pipeline transportation systems.
Where seamless supply stops being practical on OD, projects move to welded line pipe. Ordering still needs the same discipline: grade + PSL, weld process, OD/wall, ends, coating and the full test / annex package.
Grades we quote: L245, L290, L320, L360, L390, L415, L450, L485 in PSL1 or PSL2, with EN 10204 documentation and optional sour-service testing.
Related: ISO 3183 Seamless, API 5L LSAW / DSAW / HSAW, API 5L Seamless.
ISO 3183 covers steel pipe for pipeline transportation systems. Welded product forms — especially SAW (submerged-arc welded) LSAW/DSAW/HSAW — are the usual route for larger OD line pipe. HFW and COW processes may also be specified depending on diameter, wall and project rules.
ISO 3183 is not applicable to cast pipe. Always confirm weld process, NDE and PSL requirements on the PO.
Choose seamless for many smaller OD / high-integrity packages. Choose welded SAW when diameter and wall make plate-formed welded pipe the economical and approved product form — typically from about 16" NB upward, depending on mill capability and project specs.
Approximate mappings remain the same as seamless: L245≈B, L360≈X52, L450≈X65, L485≈X70, and so on. Weld process, NDE and PSL2 toughness packages must still match the governing specification.

ISO 3183 Pipes AS PER ANNEX A, ANNEX B, ANNEX C, ANNEX D ANNEX E, ANNEX G, ANMEX H, ANNEX I, ANNEX J, ANNEX K, ANNEX L, ANNEX M
ISO 3183 welded pipe (SAW / HFW / COW) is used for large-diameter pipeline transportation systems in oil and gas where welded line pipe is more practical than seamless for OD and wall combinations.
Use seamless for many smaller OD / high-integrity packages. Use SAW/LSAW welded pipe for larger diameters (often 16 in and above) where plate-formed welded pipe is the project standard. Follow the approved construction and welding class.
Both cover line pipe for hydrocarbon transmission. Grade mapping is common (L360/X52, L450/X65, etc.), but PSL level, weld process, NDE and annex testing must match the PO — dual certification is project-dependent.
Typical supply covers L245 through L485 in PSL1/PSL2 as SAW, HFW or COW, with coating options (3LPE/epoxy) and sour-service testing when required.
We Export ISO 3183 Welded Pipe to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Turkey, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Israel, Jordan, Cyprus, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Taiwan, Cambodia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Uruguay, United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad And Tobago, Jamaica, Bahamas, Denmark, Russia, Norway, Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Ukraine, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Czech Republic, Portugal, Hungary, Albania, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Finland, Ireland, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta, Nigeria, Algeria, Angola, South Africa, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, The Republic Of Congo, Gabon, Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Middle East, Far East.etc
