Typical supply covers about ½" NB to 48" NB (project-dependent), in schedules from Sch 10s through XXS / custom wall. Seamless fittings are common in smaller sizes; welded / fabricated fittings cover larger OD. Always match the fitting construction and WP class to the piping class and WPS. Marking normally includes size, schedule or wall, material grade, heat number and manufacturer identification for full traceability.

Buttweld fittings are used wherever welded piping must change direction, branch, reduce or terminate — oil & gas and refining, chemical and petrochemical plants, power and utility steam lines, water treatment, marine and offshore modules, skids and fabrication yards. Pair fittings with matching pipe, flanges and forged fittings from the same material family when the project requires a single MTC trail.
