Hastelloy C276 Bolts is a nickel molybdenum chromium superalloy with additions of iron and tungsten with extreme resistance to corrosion at high temperatures. There are also many different grades of Hastelloy Fastener available. Most of these Hastelloy C276 Screws were designed specifically for high temperature applications. Hastelloy C276 Studs has outstanding resistance to highly oxidizing and reducing agents, making it a great choice for moderate to severe corrosive environments.

The content of molybdenum and chromium added to the Hastelloy Screws can be in the following ratio – Molybdenum (Mo) - 30%, Chromium (Cr) - 23% and Iron (Fe) - 29%’Alone, nickel has excellent corrosion resistance properties. Besides having exceptional resistance to corrosion , Hastelloy C276 Nuts offer other benefits like good resistance to thermal creep deformation, excellent mechanical strength, strong durability of the fasteners in reducing environments, good surface stability, and excellent resistance of the Hastelloy C276 Bolts in strong oxidizing solutions. The excellent resistance against oxidation is because of the addition of chromium in Hastelloy. The low carbon content in Hastelloy Fasteners ensures minimal grain boundary carbide precipitation.
