PSL 2 sets mandatory requirements for carbon equivalent, notch toughness, ultimate yield strength, and ultimate tensile strength. These and other differences are summarized in Appendix 1. Requirements that apply only to PSL I or only to PSL 2 are marked like this. Requirements not specified for a specific PSL apply to both PSL I and PSL 2.
