What is A269 TP304?

304 general-service tube. Chemistry: 18Cr-8Ni (approx. 18–20% Cr, 8–10.5% Ni).

Selection guidance

Choose 304 for general corrosion resistance and formability. Prefer 304L for heavy welded sections; 304H when elevated-temperature carbon is required; move to 316/316L for chloride / marine exposure.
