What is 316L?

316L (UNS S31603): 16–18% Cr, 10–14% Ni, 2–3% Mo, C ≤ 0.030%. Mechanical guide: min tensile ~485 MPa (70 ksi), min yield ~170 MPa (25 ksi) typical for A312 TP316L — confirm PO.

The 316L Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is used in more dimensionally accurate Applications.SS WERKSTOFF NR. 1.4436 Rectangular Pipe The pipes have lower carbide precipitation while welding and reduce the intergranular corrosion and localized corrosion.
