316L seamless tube for heat-transfer service. Chemistry: 16–18% Cr, 10–14% Ni, 2–3% Mo, C ≤ 0.030%. min tensile ~485 MPa (70 ksi), min yield ~170 MPa (25 ksi) typical for A312 TP316L — confirm PO.
Specify 316L for as-welded chloride service. Step up to 317L, 904L, 6Mo or duplex 2205 when pitting risk exceeds 316L. Confirm OD × average/min wall, length and U-bend needs on the enquiry.

The grade 316L steel can be made into plates, sheets, and coils to be used in the following:
A213 covers seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater and heat-exchanger tubes. TP316L is the 316L austenitic grade (UNS S31603).
A213 is the boiler/HX tube specification with tighter heat-transfer product rules. A269 is general-service stainless tube.
A312 is pipe; A213 is tube for heat-transfer duty. Do not interchange names on the PO.
Welded chemical / petrochemical piping; Heat-exchanger and condenser related stainless lines; Marine-adjacent and brackish water services within PREN limits
We supply this product for domestic and export projects with mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1 standard; 3.2 / TPI on request). Include destination, preferred Incoterms and any inspection body on the RFQ.
