What is A312 TP304L?

304L pipe to A312/SA312 for general corrosive service. Strength guide: min tensile ~485 MPa (70 ksi), min yield ~170 MPa (25 ksi) typical for A312 TP304L — confirm PO.

Selection guidance

Specify 304L when the PO calls for as-welded corrosion resistance. Dual-cert 304/304L is common in stock — still verify carbon and strength against the datasheet. For chlorides use 316L.
