UNS S31803 is a 22% Cr duplex stainless steel (often A182 F51 as a forging grade) used for flanges in chloride and high-strength service.
S32205 (2205) has tightened chemistry versus S31803 and is commonly specified on newer projects. Confirm the exact UNS on the PO.
Move to S32750 / S32760 when higher PREN and seawater / severe chloride resistance are required.
UNS / A182 class (S31803 or F51), type/facing, size/class, bore/schedule, and MTC / PREN notes if required.
S31803 is a 22% Cr duplex grade with a mixed austenite/ferrite microstructure. It offers higher strength than 316L and improved chloride stress-corrosion resistance. Closely related S32205 (2205) is often preferred on newer projects.
