A blind flange is a solid disk used to close a flanged connection. It must carry the full pressure load across the face, so thickness and class selection are critical. Available in RF, FF and RTJ facings to match the mating flange.

Blind Flanges (BLRF) are forged pipe flanges used to join pipe, valves and equipment with bolts and a gasket. Facing, bore and pressure class must match the piping class.
Dimensional: ASME B16.5 (NPS 1/2–24) and ASME B16.47 Series A/B for larger OD; EN 1092-1 / DIN for metric projects. Material follows the ASTM forging spec that matches the pipe (A182, A105, A350, A694, B564, etc.).
