These are boiler tubes, not process pipe and not A179 condenser tubes. Order by OD, min-wall, length and the full test package (hardness, flattening, flaring, hydrostatic/NDE).
Typical properties: tensile min 325 MPa, yield min 180 MPa. Chemistry: C 0.06–0.18%, Mn 0.27–0.63%.

A192 / SA192 specifies minimum-wall seamless carbon steel tubes for high-pressure boilers. Tubes are typically cold-drawn (or otherwise finished per order) and must meet hardness and mechanical test requirements in the standard.

A179 = HX/condenser. A192 = high-pressure boiler (low carbon). A210 = medium-carbon boiler/superheater with higher strength. Match the named spec — chemistry look-alikes are not automatic substitutes.

Standard Specification for Seamless Carbon Steel Boiler Tubes for High-Pressure Service
This specification covers minimum-wall thickness, seamless cold-drawn low-Carbon Steel Tubes for tubular heat exchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus. Tubes shall be made by the seamless process and shall be cold drawn. Heat and product analysis shall be performed wherein steel materials shall conform to required chemical compositions of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. The steel materials shall also undergo hardness test, flattening test, flaring test, flange test, and hydrostatic test.

This specification covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless carbon steel boiler and superheater Tubes for high-pressure service.The tubing sizes and thicknesses usually furnished to this specification are 1/2 in. to 7 in. [12.7 to 177.8 mm] outside diameter and 0.085 to 1.000 in. [2.2 to 25.4 mm], inclusive, in minimum wall thickness. Tubing having other dimensions may be furnished, provided such Tubes comply with all other requirements of this specification.
Mechanical property requirements do not apply to tubing smaller than 1/8 in. [3.2 mm] inside diameter or 0.015 in. [0.4 mm] thickness. The values stated in either inch-pound units or SI units are to be regarded separately as standard. Within the text, the SI units are shown in brackets. The values stated in each system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system must be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the specification. The inch-pound units shall apply unless the “M” designation of this specification is specified in the order.

A192 / SA192 covers seamless carbon steel boiler tubes for high-pressure service — boiler tubes, flues, superheater tubes and safe ends where the high-pressure boiler-tube specification is required.
Chemistry is similar (low carbon, cold-drawn). A179 is for heat exchangers and condensers; A192 is for high-pressure boiler service. Order the specification named on the equipment datasheet.
A192 is low-carbon high-pressure boiler tube. A210 A1 is medium-carbon boiler/superheater tube with higher tensile/yield (415/255 MPa vs A192’s 325/180 MPa). Do not substitute on OD alone.
